ACROTECH Cardan Type Conveyors

Acrotech Cardan type conveyor is based on the principle of moving the cardan chain in three axes on the cardan rail.

The cardan type drive unit is top-mounted caterpillar type or side gear with torque protection. Chain hanger pitches are 400 mm and multiples. Thanks to the central lubrication unit on the system, chain bearings are automatically lubricated at desired time intervals. Torque limiters are used on drive units to protect the conveyor system from jamming and strain. Bearings mounted on the chain are capable of operating at 250 degrees. The conveyor chain tension system is made as spring or screw type. The cardan conveyor rail is specially bent from sheet metal. Multiple drive units are used in long conveyor systems, and synchronized operation is ensured between drive units.
