Electrostatic powder coating, wet paint, blasting and primer operations generate hazardous particles that must be filtered before exhaust. ACROTECH positive pressure paint rooms are constructed from polyurethane or sandwich panels and utilize a cellular fan to draw in outside air, condition it to the desired temperature and humidity, then deliver it into the booth at 1.2 atmosphere pressure. This positive pressure prevents any unwanted dust from entering from outside.
Relative humidity inside the room is automatically adjustable to the operator's preference. EU5 cartridge filters mounted on the ceiling are easily removable and cleanable via side-mounted sockets. The EU5 filtration system captures 98% of all external particles, which is especially critical for high-gloss lacquer, UV paint and premium quality surface applications. Clean air circulation ensures perfect surface quality guarantee.
The positive pressure rooms are manufactured in demountable form and custom-sized according to workpiece dimensions. Sliding doors provide full sealing, and emergency exit doors are included as standard. Specially designed sealed observation windows allow operators to monitor the painting process from outside safely.
