WEBB type conveyor chains are manufactured from spheroidal cast iron and forged steel material and are heat treated. Special bearings attached to trolleys are designed to operate at 200 degrees. Lubrication is performed through grease fittings on the trolley bodies. The drive system is available in caterpillar model and gear wheel model, with safety switches and traveling carriages. Desired speed adjustment on the conveyor line is easily made with frequency control. The chain tensioning system is manufactured as slide and spring type.
Webb type overhead conveyors hold an important place in today's technology. They are preferred conveyor systems due to their robust structure, simple design, and low maintenance requirements. Due to their chain structure, they allow vertical movements on the z-axis in addition to horizontal movements on the x and y axes. Horizontal turns are manufactured in different sizes and angles in pulley and roller types, while vertical turns are produced in varying diameters and angles depending on trolley distances.
Chain links are connected to each other without rivets, making assembly and disassembly quite easy. Trolleys consist of 2 symmetrical bodies between which carrier bars are connected and bearings are mounted. The bearings are special type conveyor bearings designed to operate at 200C temperature. The bodies are manufactured from high carbon steel using hot forging method.
